An Environmentalist Rom Com. Title TBA.

A young couple, Sally and Tom are living together. Sally sorts their trash and Tom doesn't help and often disregards the labels on the trash bins and tosses the trash into the wrong bins. Sally rides a bike to work. Tom has a car with an oversize engine. They sometimes have talks about this, and sometimes they get a bit loud, but they are happy together in many ways.

Sally meets a handsome charm boy at one of her enviro meetings, who takes a shine to her. Tom reluctantly goes to one of Sally's meetings. He sees Charm Boy looking at Sally. Tom and Sally do a temporary separation. Sally almost has sex with Charm Boy. Tom gets drunk in a bar and picks up a woman but nothing happens.

Tom hears about sea level rise and knows they are living on a river delta. He sees a computer simulation online which shows their area will flood within about 15 years. He gets interested in climate change. They get back together. They talk about getting married and having a baby. Then they separate again.

Tom's mother goes into a hospital with an ailment caused by microplastics and pollution. He studies everything about climate change. He becomes active in a different environmental group and becomes the group's spokesman. He is seen speaking about climate change on TV. Sally gets interested in him again. They get back together.

They get married. At the outdoor wedding reception there are trash bins for recycling. Tom sees a child with a soda can who is not sure which bin to use for the soda can. He shows the child which bin to use. Sally sees him doing this. They look at each other and smile. END.
